Ideal for the airport, taking a black cab from railway station costs£25,believe theres a bus but i choose not to mess around especially on a cold wet sunday evening at 7pm. shuttle service from hotel at 6am fir airport was £10 booked at reception, free early morning wake up call at chosen time, room as described, clean, comfortable sleep, tea & coffee, good shower, attatched resteraunt, menu mebe a little limited but adequate at £15-25,dunno if you can prebook a table, there was a que for resteraunt so i sat in bar area,my,food order took over half hour at 8pm with only 2 staff on,not overly busy either, there's a bar which I didn't use so no idea of prices. On a par with Premier hotel and similar. Prices also similar, convenient for airport

Having found the details for the hotel a couple of years ago it has become our goto hotel for when we fly from Manchester. It is located near the airport and you can book taxis on a one way or return basis at a very reasonable price. If like us you usually land in the small hours there is a number to call for a private taxi to take you back to the hotel ( as the shuttle bus stops about 11pm) The rooms have always been clean and the beds are comfortable. They have a bar which does food and drink at reasonable prices. The parking is safe secure and good value for money.

We arrived in the evening after a flight back from the Canary Islands. We didn't need a meal so we had a quick drink in the bar before going to bed fairly early. The room was great, with a double & single bed, tea/coffee making facilities. Everything was spotlessly clean and we slept very well. The room was a bit warm so I took the duvet out of the duvet cover which made it more comfortable to sleep. We have already booked to stay again in January. Thank you to all the staff.

Alan

The room was spacious, the large windows opened to let in fresh air when it became too warm, the normal radiator was easy to control in the room. The bathroom was fresh. The bus stop for the airport and the centre of town was right outside the hotel and only £2 per journey. The food menu and bar was inexpensive and good. Overall, a very comfortable experience with everything on the doorstep or inside the hotel. Tesco Express 10 mins walk away.

We paid £85 for a one night stay and an additional £9.95 for a breakfast in the morning. The room was modern, clean and nicely kitted out with complimentary tea and coffee. The breakfast was a buffet style with lots of varied options - including small cartons of alternative milk which was good for my friend who couldn’t have dairy. The staff were helpful and friendly.
